Our book club read The Fortune Cookie Chronicles (A Book Adventure through the Mysteries of Chinese Food) By Jennifer 8. Lee on July 24th and then dined at the King Buffet before discussing the book. Why King Buffet? Because the restaurant was mentioned in the book. Find out why out why it was mentioned when you read the book–we all really enjoyed the book!  (The photo shows everybody holding their own fortunes)

4th of July Parade!

Veterans Park was alive with patriotism this morning. Nearly twenty youngsters participated, and a good time was had by all! The weather was perfect for a post-parade picnic.
